If you know that you want, you will get it or if you don't know that you want anything, you can have it, it is your choice ”Pedro Sifontes

One of the questions I ask most of the people who write to me seeking advice is the one mentioned above. Everyone expects me to tell them what to do, but I love to answer with questions and when I ask that question, what I want is for the person to consider and rethink their opinion and their feelings and emotions about what is happening. This powerful question "What do you really want?" it allows you to think, and also to feel.

It is likely that you are worried about your future, that you are all full of uncertainty and you begin to doubt yourself and even God. They are those situations that you can't stand and where you start to look responsible for your mood, and you say that my spouse, my mom, my dad, my boss, my brother, my dog, said, did, did not say, did not do. Sometimes it is easier to blame someone else and fall into the "poor me" syndrome than to begin to see what I am lacking to achieve the life I long for.

What do you really want? It is a question that I ask myself in the present and it takes me to the future. When you know what you want from life, from your partner, from others, you will be able to achieve what you are looking for, if you do not know it, you will never be able to wait. Many of us know what we don't want but we don't know what we want.

Do you know what you want to become?

Do you know what you want to achieve in your marriage? With your children?

Do you know what you want to do?

What do you really want?

They remember the passage where Jesus says to Bartimaeus: “What do you want me to do to you? And he said, Lord, let him see. Jesus said to him: Receive it, your faith has saved you. And then he saw, and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. " You can see the story in Mark 10: 46-52. We can learn from Bartimaeus that he knew what he wanted, what he wanted was to regain his sight. He did not walk around the bush or through the clouds to see what happened, he was the protagonist of his life. He asked for what he wanted. Asking is an act of faith. Nobody asks for something if they don't think they will receive it. If you do not ask, it is because you really do not want to receive. If you want something you must ask God first and trust that He will respond.

"To achieve what you want, you first need to know what you want."

The story goes that someone once found a lamp like Aladdin's and rubbed it just in case. Immediately the genie appeared and said "Make three wishes of me, and I will grant them!". The man, who was not clear about his most important wishes, exclaimed: “Wait a second! Give me time! Let me think!". A second later the genie said "Granted!" And disappeared forever, leaving him with all the time in the world to think.

If you want to achieve success in your marriage, in your home, in your finances and in your work, it is necessary that you answer yourself: What do I really want?

Once you know for sure what it is you want to achieve in life you will be close to an extraordinary result and the next thing is to pay the price for this to happen. Knowing what you really want is very important because there will be times when it seems like everything in life is conspiring to ruin your goals and dreams. There will be weeks or even months when you feel like you are walking into a dead end tunnel. If you don't know what you want, then don't keep walking because you won't get there. But if you know what you really want, you must be willing to pay the price to make it happen and your vision will be successful.

You have to make an effort and be brave to be successful in what you choose. Effort is about courage and requires discipline and perseverance. Go out of your way and take responsibility for your life and your life.

Do not be discouraged by failure or mistakes, be brave as it is a time of learning, of starting over. Don't be afraid of problems, don't let them paralyze you. Your dreams are what lead you to your future. Do not think about luck because it will not solve the problem for you. God expects us to strive, there are about 15 biblical references for the word strive and one of my favorites is in 1 Chronicles 19:13 “Courage! Let us fight with courage for our people and for the cities of our God (our marriage, our finances and our dreams.) And may the Lord do what seems good to him! "

"All men have fears, but the brave forget them and go forward, sometimes to death, but always to victory." Motto of the Royal Guard in ancient Greece.
