What is the true meaning of Christmas?
Do you know when Jesus was born? - Nobody knows the exact date of Jesus' birth, many theologians and historians agree that it is not possible to know exactly when Jesus was, but December 25 is the date that people chose to remember his birth.

But the date of birth is not important, nor is the trees, lights, food, gifts, etc. The most important thing is not to forget the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas is when The Son of God, who is also God, left all HIS COMFORTS of living in the perfect place, left the adoration of angels and came down from heaven to be born into a poor family, with a carpenter father, of a wonderful woman Faithful to god. And he was not born in a hospital ward, with doctors and nurses taking care of mother and child, he was born in a manger, in a smelly stable, without neon lights, or pompous dinners. Can you imagine your child being born like this? Or, can you imagine yourself being born like this?

The son of God, in the midst of the dust and animal excrement, left everything to come into the world to be in contact with people and love them with all his heart and give them the best of Him, in exchange for what? people spit on him, rejected him, insulted him, slapped him, made fun of him, spanked him, tortured him, tore his beard, and all for having loved people, the people of that time did not know how to respect the SON OF GOD How foolish right?

But… Wait a minute… what a difference there is with the people of today, because Jesus was resurrected and is today in our midst every day, and what do today's people do about it? They reject Him, they make fun of Him, they torture him, etc. What makes us different from these people?

People reject Jesus by deciding NOT TO CONFESS HIM as the master of their life; they mock Him by saying that they believe in Him and that they want to follow Him but do not obey His commandments, "Not everyone who says to me: Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21 " Do they torture him? Or does it not seem torture to you to see how someone you love rejects you and hurts yourself for not paying attention to the indications that you are giving with love?

He came to the world to bring the BEST GIFT anyone can receive, that gift is ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN, we all have eternal life after death, the only thing we have to decide is where to live that eternal life, in HEAVEN or in HELL, and this is a decision that only YOU can make.

A child asked me something yesterday: "What is the best gift for Jesus?"

My humble opinion is that:

If you are a person who does not have Jesus as the savior of your life, giving your life to Jesus would be a good gift, and JESUS will give you ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.

If you want to have that ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN, let me tell you that there is only one way: JESUS, “Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. " John 14: 6. And the way to take that path is very simple:That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Because with the heart it is believed for justice, but with the mouth it is confessed for salvation. " Romans 10: 9-10.

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your savior, just repeat this prayer, repeating this prayer will not save you, neither will the words you will be saying, but the FAITH you put in these words will give you your salvation:

“Jesus, I ask your forgiveness for my sins, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I confess you as Lord of my life, I know that you died on the cross, to give me eternal life, I know that you rose again on the third day, I give you my life, in the name of Jesus, AMEN. "

Now you must begin to have a personal relationship with God, that is achieved by praying every day and reading the Bible every day.

If you are someone who already has Jesus in your heart and wants to know what is the best gift for Jesus, what do you think about loving him as he loves him and obeying him, remember, he left HIS COMFORT to save him, can you leave YOUR COMFORT to carry the message of salvation to other people? Are you afraid? Unsafety? Shame? "and behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the world. Amen."

JESUS LOVES US, let's show him that we love him.
