Let God be the only person on your mind as you read this prayer.

If we have time to read other things, we can take two minutes for God.

Friends who pray together stay together.

Let's pray:
Dear God,

I thank you for this day. I thank you for being able to see and hear this morning. I am blessed because you are an understanding and forgiving God. You have done so much for me and you continue to bless me every day.

Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasant for you. Now I ask for your forgiveness. Please keep me safe, away from all danger or harm.

Help me start this day with a new attitude and a lot of gratitude. Let me make the best of each day to clear my mind so I can hear you. Please expand my mind so that I can accept all your designs. Don't let me regret things over which I have no control.

May I recognize evil.

And when I commit sin, allow me to repent, and confess with my mouth my wrong procedure, and thus receive your forgiveness. And when this world closes within me, let me remember the example of Jesus to go away and find a secluded place to pray.

This is the best response when I am pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, you listen to my heart.

Continue to use me to do your bidding. Continue blessing me so I can bless other people.

Keep me strong, may I help the weak.

Keep me uplifted so I can have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those who are lost and cannot find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and do not understand. I pray for those who do not know you intimately. I pray for those who do not believe.

But I thank you because I believe. I think you change people and you change things.

I pray for all my brothers and sisters. For each member of the family and their homes. I pray for peace, love and joy in your homes, that you are out of debt and all your needs are resolved.

I pray that each person who reads this knows that there is no problem, battle, circumstance, or situation greater than your Lord.

This is my prayer.

In the name of Jesus.
