“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement; nothing can be accomplished without hope. " Helen Keller

As a person, regardless of your position or role, you know that many things are required to be successful.

Many do not reach it because they say to themselves:

"If only I had the money."
"If only I had the contacts."
"If only they would support me."
"If only I knew that I would not fail."
"If only ...".

The truth is that each of these statements and others have become excuses for not taking responsibility for the results we obtain in life!

There is an example in the Bible of a woman who made such a statement "If I will only touch Jesus' robe I will be healed," and you know the story that she was healed. For those who do not know it, you can find it in the Gospel of Mark 5: 25-34. She had the faith, perseverance, responsibility, creativity, commitment, desire, the attitude of a person willing to face obstacles and overcome them to achieve good results. She dared, overcame every one of her fears, she had no money, she had no connections, she was only committed to her dream. She achieved success.

Now if only you believe that you will be successful, I assure you that you will.

First, you need to have a very clear vision of what you want to achieve. This woman wanted her healing. What do you want to achieve?
You will never reach the goal if you are not clear on what you want to achieve. Take the time to really define what you want. The vision
it is a starting point, not the point of arrival.

The second What you must do is have a plan, design the steps that will take you towards your goal. Be flexible, don't be rigid in your planning plus you must maintain a discipline. Imagine that this woman was considered unclean, she was completely cut off from society, she had to figure out how to get to Jesus.

Once you have your plan, remember that every day you have a chance to move forward. Discard each of the excuses. Each day you must evaluate yourself and ask yourself, How close did I get to my goal? This will give you a chance to make adjustments.

Cloudy days will probably come and you think that you will not make it, you will probably be discouraged but do not give up. I imagine the woman in the middle of the crowd that follows Jesus struggling with her fears but without hesitation, how many things they could have said to her, the more she was focused on her vision of being healthy. Even though you feel like you're not succeeding, be persistent and always push forward. I have always said that God designed us to go forward and remember that a double minded person is fickle in all his ways.

If you commit to your plan, you are sure to be rewarded. There is a prize for responsibility, for perseverance, for those who make an effort. I go back to the story of the woman and find that she was committed to her plan to touch the mantle of Jesus to be healed and she succeeded. Jesus asks Who touched my cloak? And after a few minutes she took responsibility, and Jesus tells her: «Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.

If you just believe and be optimistic, with a clear vision and a great plan and take action for your dreams, you will find great rewards. You must believe it is worth it.
